We present to you a small selection of objects for the home of a curious, well travelled collector.
Ceramics inspired by Kintsugi , a japanese method of piecing together old ceramics using gold. We’ve used that as inspiration and used 18 K gold on the rims and handles of our ceramics.
The art of inlay was particularly prevalent in Syria , Egypt and of course in Rajasthan in India. It’s a very special skill that required, Ivory, in the past to be hand cut specifically to fit a cavity made for that piece. A more ethical version of this was born over the years using camel bone and buffalo horn from the desert that naturally passed. This is what you’ll find at our store, ethical beauty without cruelty.
Our carpets are pure fantasy. The first , the 1001 carpet , is as you would imagine from the name, leopards, the desert, palms , arched doorways , a beautiful spectrum of colors , greek borders and to sum it all up, a fairy tale that belongs in the living room of a curious and well travelled adventurer with impeccable taste. Hand tufted carpets made with Silk viscose make this piece of hand work affordable and durable.
